What does “Storytelling”

mean in my sessions?

At its core, this work is about holding onto a real, raw, and honest way of being that is so present in childhood and so easy to lose with time.

I offer these sessions to families in Ottawa and the Outaouais region, in their homes or in places that feel true to them.

Each session is divided into two parts;

In the first part, I gently guide you through simple games and prompts.

This helps everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera and allows me to capture connected, relaxed family moments.

In the second part, I step back.

You choose an activity that feels true to your family.

It could be going to the park, spending time at home, cooking, BBQing, playing, or simply each doing their own thing.

I follow and observe without directing.

This is where the most honest moments appear.

The small interactions. The gestures. The details that often go unnoticed in posed photography.

You leave with a complete story.

Images that feel natural and connected, and others that are raw, intimate, and deeply real.

These are the moments that stay.

What

feels

ordinary

today

will be unrecognizable

tomorrow
